Great meat department. The deli has a great selection at a fair price. Fruits and fresh veggies are great too. Staff is very friendly. I disagree with the lady who claims it's dirty. I think it is well kept. They also keep enough checkout people to keep the wait time down. Fresher and cheaper meat prices than most. They will cut steaks to order the thickness you want. The other day that had whole beef tenderloins for 7.99 a pound. Try that at Walmart or price cutter. To the lady who didn't like it. Suggest hy vi. They cater to snobs and make you pay for it.
Their produce rack really can't be beat as far as quality, and when they have a meat sale, they have a meat SALE. It's small enough that you're not completely worn out by the time you leave (like those bigger, "super" stores), and big enough to have almost everything you need. I find most of the clerks helpful, and they have really worked on the appearance of the floors, etc.
I always enjoy shopping at this nice little hometown grocery. The staff is friendly and helpful. For a small grocery, they have a nice selection. You'll pay more for some things, but that is to be expected outside a major city.
This is your small town grocery store. It is easy to navigate. They do have good deals just have to know when they are and where to look. Wed and Thurs they usually have manager's specials on meet which helps them compete with price of other stores. Although places like Wal-mart claim to be "low price" I have found by looking for the sales you can get much better deals here. It just takes a little work. Overall, its a clean and easy place to shop.
